A Superior Affiliate Marketing Case Study: How a Newbie Got 412% ROI & Lasting Success

I’ll be honest – as a fairly new Amazon affiliate, I had yet to earn any commissions through Amazon’s Associate program.

Right after I purchased the company in June 2022, I decided to give the AmaLinksPro plugin a shot.

My skepticism quickly turned into joy, as my clicks and earnings began to skyrocket one month later after I added the plugin to three of my niche websites (my blog, Why Stuff Sucks, and LoopKing Premium Shoelaces). These all had strong SEO website traffic which was a key to jumpstarting commissions quickly.

After a short while, I was able to make my money back from the initial plugin purchase in 3 months, with much more to come. In fact, my projected ROI for just the first year is 412%, and there’s no sign of it slowing down, either.

What makes the plugin so successful?

A big part has to do with how effortless it is to create stunning affiliate links featuring high–resolution images, product comparisons, & convincing calls-to-action.

Beyond earning more commissions for me than ever before, I was also able to use the software to gain valuable business insights for future decision-making (more on this in a bit).

If you’re on the fence about trying out our software, check out my story to discover what AmaLinksPro can do when implemented properly (as well as how to duplicate my success on your websites).

Testing AmaLinks Pro®: Generating Steady + Growing Commissions on an Affiliate Marketing Website (3 to Be Exact)

Once I purchased the software, it was time to put it to the test with my team.

I wanted to see if it was capable of earning commissions for me from several different websites, all varying greatly in focus and scope.

  1. First, there’s one of my older personal websites, where I post about everything from my favorite types of candy bars to advice on how to start your own business. I wanted to see if I could monetize some of my posts, especially the ones that mention lots of products you can find on Amazon.
  2. Next, there’s my consulting website, Why Stuff Sucks®. It’s where I focus on SEO consulting (growing organic traffic via search engines), as well as my original book series of the same name. I had a few existing blog posts counting down the best business and marketing books, which were affiliate marketing goldmines perfect for AmaLinksPro.
  3. Lastly, LoopKing Laces is a premium shoelace brand, and I wanted to add some Amazon affiliate links for high-end sneakers (since I only sell laces not shoes) to help my customers find those as well.

I had my three target websites, so it was time to put my new plugin to the ultimate test. My primary weapons of choice were enticing, high-quality image links with CTA buttons. I also made use of comparison tables in certain cases.

Image links with CTA buttons worked wonders for my article on candy bars, as nothing makes someone crave candy like a blown-up, high-quality image of a chocolate bar (complete with a convenient button affiliate link to purchase some on Amazon).

The same was true for the book countdown articles on the Why Stuff Sucks® website. I included a high-resolution image of the book along with a button containing a call to action.

For certain authors, I created a comparison table of several of their books, each with its own affiliate link/button. I also did the same at the top of the candy bar article, where I listed the best-sellers.

Another noticeable perk was how easy it was to create these links. My team and I were able to create impressive, alluring affiliate links straight from WordPress with the click of a button.
Instead of having to manually ‘clean up’ my affiliate links (a noticeable pain point for Amazon Associates), AmaLinksPro took care of all that for me.

All we had to do was select which type of link we wanted (text, image, CTA, or showcase), and voila – we’d have a high-res image along with a CTA button containing a perfectly formatted Amazon affiliate link.

My Affiliate Marketer Results: They Way to Earn Money in 3 Months + Much More to Come, a ROI of 412%

Now that you know more about my approach, it’s time to take a look at the results. As you can see from the image above, my commissions began to soar in July (one month after using the plugin).

The earnings continued into August and picked up some serious momentum in September (which is carrying over into October).

I paid $197 for AmaLinksPro, and the plugin paid for itself in a mere 3 months. As you can see under Summary, my commissions (including bounties – which is a fixed rate Amazon pays for certain offers like free trials) totaled $210, and they’re only going to compound from here.

Also note that my conversion rate is an eye-popping 10.97% (for reference, anywhere from 2 – 5% is considered high) – which is a true testament to the power of the affiliate links provided by AmaLinksPro.

At the bottom, you can see my earnings breakdown based on my three affiliate IDs for each website.

I earned the most from my personal blog, which isn’t a surprise, as my posts contained a boatload of Amazon products and alluring links boosted by lots of SEO traffic (i.e., the candy bar article featured 87 products). So if you want to start an affiliate blog that earns real money, take note!

LoopKing Laces’ commissions came in second despite generating fewer clicks (it goes from 2,948 to 594) – but this also makes sense considering the affiliate products were high-end sneakers – which cost quite a bit more than candy bars.

Affiliate Marketers Use AmaLinksPro to Go to the Next Level

You’ve already seen how this software took my affiliate marketing efforts from 0 to 100 in only a month, and it can do the same for you, too.

That’s especially true if you’re a new Amazon Associate struggling to generate your first three sales. In fact, AmaLinksPro is the only Amazon Associates plugin to feature a No-API mode.

What’s that?

If you weren’t aware, you don’t gain access to Amazon’s Product Advertising API until you land three sales. Not only that, but every other Amazon plugin requires that you have access to the API before you can use it.

AmaLinksPro is different, as you can start using it from day one without API access. Even without the API, you can still create dazzling affiliate links to increase your conversions (it certainly worked for me) – so don’t wait to check out the demo today.

Amazon Associates sales detail data provides in-depth tracking features that have real strategic value

Earning a boatload of commissions wasn’t the only thing AmaLinksPro did for my businesses.

When I looked at my Amazon Associates sales detail data, it provides some in-depth tracking features that have real strategic value.

For example, I was able to discover that LoopKing Laces customers who couldn’t find a simple cotton lace would venture to Amazon and buy stock cotton laces there.

That led to me making the business decision to start selling simple cotton laces to salvage the business from those customers.

No existing LoopKing customers were emailing me with this information, so without the software, I would have no way of acquiring this valuable business insight.

That’s how purchasing the plugin was able to supercharge my sales as an Amazon Affiliate.

The proof is in the pudding, and I was able to prove the effectiveness of AmaLinksPro through my experimentations (while earning my money back and then some in the process).

Whether you’re an online business owner or an affiliate blogger, leveraging this software is a great way to start seeing more commissions each month.

It’s the only Amazon plugin that has a No-API mode, and it integrates seamlessly with WordPress (it works on both the classic editor and block editor) and Google Analytics for top-tier tracking, so don’t wait to try it out for yourself.
