I’m really excited to share our complete story with you. So… Hello! My name is Miles (a.k.a. Miles Anthony Smith) and I am the face and the voice of AmaLinks Pro®.

First and foremost – I need to explain who ‘Us’ is when we say, “Built for Us.”

Us IS NOT just we – the product creators, owners, and sellers.

Us IS all of us – you and me and everybody else who promotes Amazon products on our WordPress websites. And yes – we (the product creators) also run Amazon Affiliate sites. So, we’re one of you too! We’re all in this thing together.

Built for Us – we quite literally built AmaLinks Pro® for all of us because there was a real need and a hole in the market for exactly what we offer.

Starting with Why

It wasn’t hard to come up with a ‘Why’ statement for our business – we just had to tell it like it is and 100% truthfully explain WHY we built AmaLinks Pro®. Here it is…

Because WordPress publishers deserve a simpler and more efficient way to connect to the world’s most powerful affiliate program – Amazon Associates.

But why do publishers deserve something like this? Why do they even need it? Several years ago – there were NO tools available to connect WordPress with Amazon Associates. You had to build your affiliate links manually and the process wasn’t easy or efficient.

Then a few different tools made their way to the marketplace, including a free WordPress plugin built and offered directly from Amazon. All of the other tools were okay – one was even really good – but none were really great.

This is WHY we HAD to build AmaLinks Pro®. WordPress publishers needed and deserved to have access to one really great plugin that connects their website to the Amazon Associates program. AmaLinks Pro® is extremely simple to use and offers options and features that will increase clicks over to Amazon which, in turn, will lead to more affiliate sales which means more income for the website owner!

The Idea to Build It

I was writing out an email to my virtual assistant one day – detailing instructions for how I combine 2 different WordPress plugins to achieve one piece of functionality that I wanted for my Amazon product review posts. Specifically – I wanted to create beautiful call-to-action (CTA) buttons that linked to Amazon with my affiliate link in place.

Then I thought… there really should be one plugin that does this. I was already using 2 different good plugins – one for building Amazon Affiliate links and one for creating CTA buttons. But what if I could create one plugin that did both and made it way better than either of the others?!

Then, the more I thought about it – I thought… well if I’m going to build this plugin – why not build an all-in-one plugin that does everything?! Essentially, what I had in mind was a plugin that would replace ALL other plugins that connect WordPress to Amazon Associates. I would take the best aspects of each of the others and make them better – and remove any of the unnecessary or bad aspects.

I would create the best damn Amazon Affiliate WordPress plugin that ever existed!

The Process to Build It

I only had one small problem. I’m not a coder and I don’t know how to create WordPress plugins. Luckily – I knew someone who is a coder and does know how to create plugins and also happens to be a WordPress wizard!

I had another problem though… for a project of this magnitude and the number of hours that I knew would go into it – I would likely need to spend $10,000 or more just to get started. I didn’t have $10,000 (not even close) – so I had to get creative. We ended up striking up a partnership agreement and the two of us built AmaLinks Pro® together. He did all of the coding of the plugin itself and I handled the sales website and the other 6,000 things that go along with a project like this.

Neither of us had struck it rich online yet, by any means. We both worked full-time day jobs and ran our internet marketing side hustles in our spare time. In other words, we didn’t have a huge start-up fund or investors or anything like that in order to pay a development team. We built this thing ourselves – 100% with hard work, grit, and pure determination.

It took almost exactly 6 months from the time I first had the idea to the time of our first launch. There was a LOT of back and forth between the two of us. We endured several debates on many different aspects of the plugin itself, the sales site, and the business structure.

In the end – we both agree that there is no way AmaLinks Pro® would exist as it does today without this partnership. We’ve held each other accountable and our separate skill sets have complemented each other perfectly.

Going Forward with It

AmaLinks Pro® is NOT a fly-by-night business that will be here today and be gone tomorrow. No – we’re in this thing for the long haul. We will not sell you the plugin for a one-time price and then disappear. This is what justifies our recurring pricing model. We have big plans for AmaLinks Pro®!

We have many new ideas for features that will be developed and released throughout the months and years to come. We’re also open to feedback and ideas from users. After all – it is ‘Built for Us’ and we will continue building it out for all of us.

On top of the new features in development – we plan to continuously improve the existing features in AmaLinks Pro® as well as keep the plugin updated in order to remain compatible with the latest versions of WordPress.

In other words – you can count on us at AmaLinks Pro®. We are 100% reliable and trustworthy. We’re not going anywhere and we plan to serve this market for a very long time. We believe that we’ve truly developed the best Amazon Affiliate WordPress plugin ever and it is entirely and thoroughly – “Built for Us!”
