The Best Amazon Affiliate Strategy for a Marketer at Any Level

There are many tactics you can use to build out a great Amazon affiliate strategy, no matter where you are on your journey. Whether you’re completely new to this and just starting out, a seasoned pro with years of experience, or somewhere in-between, in the fast-paced world of affiliate marketing there’s always something new to learn.

This post follows on from our special report revealing the new affiliate marketing ‘golden bubble’. Whilst the guide below is definitely readable as a stand-alone post, if you haven’t read it already, I would highly recommend that you start with AC’s in-depth analysis of this new affiliate marketing golden bubble.

Whichever level you’re at with your affiliate marketing business, I encourage you to read all of the sections below as there are some golden nuggets within each section that can be highly beneficial to you.

Do These Three Things – Whatever Level You’re At

One thing that is a constant – whichever level you find yourself at – is that you need to work. Harder. Smarter. Faster. As more new people start up affiliate marketing businesses, the competition is going to get extremely hot as those beginners start to catch up.

Work Harder

Covid-19 taught us many things. One of the biggest is that very few jobs in this world are safe. Taking responsibility for our own financial future by building a business that can withstand global upheaval is the only real way to protect our income and livelihood. And in order to do that, we have to be prepared to roll our sleeves up and work really hard.

But what does that actually mean? Our lives are all very different, with many things pulling at our time. Some of us (like me) are in full-time employment and do affiliate marketing as a side-hustle, others will be full-time on their online business and therefore able to spend a much more significant amount of time building that business.

Work hours aside, there are all of the life chores and time-saps that daily come our way. Some of which we can do nothing about, but some of which we can utilize better. The simplest way to look at this is to be completely intentional with the way we spend ‘spare time’.

Personally, I’ve cancelled my Netflix subscription and rarely watch TV of any kind now. All of those hours are now poured back into learning or working on my blog. Ask yourself which things you currently choose to spend your time doing that could be stopped, with the hours gained back put to better use building your business.

Work Smarter

Having a clear content and marketing plan will help you to maximize your use of time. If you’re looking to write 3 blog posts per week, map out at the start of the month what those posts are for each week.

Then, plan out your hours each week for when you can work on your business and know what you’ll be doing in each of those time slots. Google Drive has both Schedule and To-Do List templates in its template gallery – using these can really help.

At the end of each day know exactly what the next thing is that you will be working on tomorrow. A good tactic I’ve found is defining the most important thing I need to work on the next day and ensure I tackle that first. Then I know that if the other things take longer than I thought, at least the most important item is done.

Build your own templates out for different kinds of blog posts and adverts so that you’re not having to start from scratch each time.

Block time out and batch similar tasks together within those blocks. For example, once you have a content plan for the week, source all of your images/videos etc to accompany those posts and separate them out into folders. Doing this in one batch can save you a heap of time, and also prevents you from having to come out of writing mode to find images when creating the actual post.

Double-up on time. Whenever you’re doing something like cooking or washing the dishes or working out, use this time to learn something specific to what you need for the next step in my affiliate journey, either from a podcast or a YouTube video. Being specific here is vital, otherwise, the consumption of content can become addictive and actually prevent you from creating your own. Be intentional. Be specific.

listening to podcast while jogging

Doubling up on time in this way means that when you actually have that dedicated time to create content, you can get on with just that, without needing to spend the first chunk of it learning something.

When watching a YouTube video or listening to a podcast, keep a notepad to hand so you can quickly jot down any time-stamp you may need to reference for your post. This can save SO much time and frustration at trying to remember where you heard something.

Work Faster

If you’re just starting out and have a limited budget this will come from practice. It is hard, to begin with. But it really does get easier the more you do it. Utilize the working smarter tactics above, and this in itself will help you to be faster.

One thing that has really helped me to speed up writing blog posts is to use Google to help me plan the structure. Once you’ve done your keyword research and know which keyword you’re targeting with a post, type that phrase into Google. As well as the top 10 ranking posts, you’ll also be presented with some key information…

Use the ‘People Also Ask’ box to give you a list of questions to answer. Those questions can often become sub-headers in your article. A little tip here (thanks, Matt!) – if you click on the small down arrow next to one of the items in the ‘people also ask’ list, more items appear in the list. As you already know that Google associates these questions with your key phrase, adding these phrases into your post will help with your on-page SEO.

best-hammock-for-camping-Google-Search

Also, at the bottom of the search page, you’ll find the Related Searches box. Including any of these search phrases as sub-headers in your post is also going to help your on-page SEO.

Having a framework of headers and sub-headers in your draft post is so much better than starting with a blank page. Additionally, if you know you’re looking to write a post that is 2000 words long, and you have 8 sub-headers plus an intro and conclusion, then you know that you need to write around 200 words for each sub-header. Breaking a large post down into bitesize chunks makes the whole process much less daunting.

For those with more money than time, then finding reliable freelancers to help you is perhaps the best way for you to scale your business. Writers, designers, video editors, audio technicians can all help you to escalate your business in a fraction of the time it would take to do it all yourself. More on this shortly.

#1 – Experienced Affiliates With Active Websites/Campaigns

If you fall into this category, then you’re already in pole position to grow your business(es) massively.

Amazon Affiliate Strategy for Experienced and Active Affiliates

1. Expand Your Online Footprint

The world has changed. No doubt about that. People’s shopping habits have been forced to change and eCommerce has grown phenomenally over the past 12 months. If we take Amazon as a barometer, its net sales grew by 37% in 2020 compared with 2019.

And surveys suggest that more than a third of people will continue to shop for those items online even when the pandemic is over. If you’re an experienced affiliate marketer you can capitalize on that through exploring new verticals.

Use your keyword research skills to identify niches that have become more popular due to the pandemic. Areas such as home-gym spaces, home cooking alternatives, and custom home office ideas, have all blossomed as a result of our recent enforced lifestyle changes.

Could your existing brand(s) naturally branch out into one of these territories? Great. If not, you have the experience to start a new business quickly and you know what you need to do.

2. Optimize, Optimize, Optimize

As well as exploring new online territories, now is the time for you to optimize the affiliate business(es) you already run. What can you tweak to increase your usefulness to your audience and in turn your income?

Optimize Your Email List

This is a big one. As you know, having tailored and focused email marketing campaigns is one of the most powerful ways to develop your Amazon affiliate strategy and can keep providing value to your audience. This in turn helps you to develop your brand’s relationship with them and to further build trust. The natural effect of this is more engagement.

How often are you emailing your list?

Many businesses choose to email their list(s) once or twice a week. The fear is that if they email more often, people will get irritated and unsubscribe. It’s an understandable fear. I can think of several instances where I’ve unsubscribed due to the heavy frequency of emails! That said, I can think of several brands that I wish would email me more because I love what they send me.

Lots of businesses have discovered that if they do email more often, say between 5-7 times a week, that the engagement actually increases. How? It’s largely down to the type of content in those emails…

What sort of emails are they?

If you’re only emailing once a week, the chances are that one email is going to have a sales element in there. You’ll most likely use that one opportunity to provide value to your audience before asking them for something in return.

Emailing more often allows you to give value without asking for something in return. The natural by-product of this is that you build more trust with your audience.

Gary Vaynerchuk coined the phrase in his brilliant book, Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook. That is, you give three value jabs without asking for anything, before capitalizing on that freely given value by delivering the right hook – a sales pitch. Others take this even further, with five or more jabs to one right hook. This has resulted in increased engagement and sales with very little fall-off in the number of subscribers.

Remember, people have signed up to your email list because they are genuinely interested in your content and the value it brings to their lives. So, if 80% of the emails you send provide usefulness and helpfulness to your audience, then the likelihood is that they are not just going to open those emails, they are going to look forward to them and engage with the content.

Optimize Click-Through Rate

Adding high-converting product showcases and comparison tables to posts that don’t already have them can boost your CTR dramatically. Go through your posts and look for opportunities to add these in. Not only will they boost your CTR they look beautiful on the page, enhancing your reader’s experience.

Whether you’re an AmaLinks Pro user or not, Matt’s CTR tests may be of interest to you. With increased CTR rate results at 263% and even 386%, these tests really do prove that the way links are displayed in a post has a huge impact on the CTR rate.

It’s also important to know where those clicks came from, so you can see which links are working best, allowing you to optimize future posts better. AmaLinks Pro’s built-in tracking lets you see easily if your Amazon clicks come from your text links, image links, showcase links, table links or your CTA button – knowing this can help you to maximize your CTR and your earnings. For more on tracking links, check out our in-depth guide.

Optimize With Google Analytics

Dig into your stats on Google Analytics and see which of your posts are performing well and which aren’t. What can you do to improve them?

Are you getting lots of people reading a post but not clicking through? Then you may need to look at your copywriting for that post, tweak your CTA or spruce up your links. We know Amazon converts well – better than any other affiliate program – so maximize your CTR, promote products on Amazon and your conversion rate will almost certainly increase.

Perhaps Google Analytics is telling you that a post is underperforming in terms of the number of readers it attracts – in that case, look at the headline. Could it be better? Does it include power words and is the strong benefit to the reader clear?

Consider A/B testing some of your posts to see which perform better – we highly recommend Nelio A/B Testing.

Optimize With Google Search Console

Tweaking your on-page and off-page SEO can make the difference between an article making it onto page 1 of the Google SERP. Use Google’s Search Console tool to measure your site’s search traffic and performance so you can identify those posts which could be boosted with a little SEO editing.

Optimize Your Ads

Analyze your ads to make sure they are performing as well as they should. Scale successful campaigns, tweak the average campaigns to make them better and cut out your less successful campaigns.

3. Reinvest in Your Business

As we know, updating existing content and creating new content takes time. As an experienced affiliate marketer (and if you haven’t already), now could be the time to explore the world of freelancers, allowing you to free up your time to do the things that only you can do.

Building a team around your business will increase the amount of fresh content you can produce dramatically. Two of the main places to find online freelancers are UpWork and Fiverr, where you’ll find talented people who can help with all aspects of writing and editing as well as design, video, audio and admin.

reinvest in your business

In addition to those, I’ve pulled out two others that I feel are specifically worth a mention.

ProBlogger

With both Candidate and Employer dashboards, ProBlogger is a great place to go if you want to post for help with a specific job or if you’re looking for more regular freelance help.

Writer Access

Despite the name, Writer Access is a gateway to more than just writers. There are three tier options allowing you to choose from a pool of freelance talent:

  • Tier 1 – content writers, copywriters
  • Tier 2 – designers, videographers, animators
  • Tier 3 – Editors, Content Managers

4. Leverage Cutting-edge Marketing Tools

You won’t need me to tell you that the world of content marketing is ever-changing. New hardware, software and plug-ins a released almost daily. And some of them can help your business to grow – fast!

How AI Can Help Affiliate Marketers

The world of AI is truly moving rapidly. A post in its own right, for this article I’ll just list a few of the most useful AI tools out there for affiliate marketers.

MarketMuse

A tool such as MarketMuse can help you to build content strategies, speed up your content creation and help with content decisions.

It works by analyzing thousands of web pages on a given phrase, and then provides a ‘content blueprint’ to show you how to write the most comprehensive article on that topic, comparing how what you write ranks up with the SERP top 20. In addition, it can offer you a personalized difficulty score, one that’s specifically based on your website and content. That’s truly powerful and incredibly helpful.

Conversion.ai

As crazy as it still sounds to me, it’s possible to have a piece of software generate written content for you. Conversion.ai is one of the leaders in this field, and it can create many different types of content for you such as:

  • Product descriptions
  • Blog post outlines
  • Blog post intro paragraphs
  • Facebook ad headlines
  • Facebook ad primary text
  • Google ads headlines
  • Google ads descriptions

For a really helpful run-through of how this works, check out Miles Beckler’s review of this cutting edge tool in this video.

If you feel uncomfortable having AI write a whole blog post for your audience of real people, you could still utilize its incredible capabilities without compromising your values.

For example, let’s say that from looking at your Google Analytics, you can see that some of your blog posts have a low click-through rate. This can be highly suggestive that the headline isn’t as effective as it could be. You can then use a tool like Conversion.ai to generate different title ideas for you. Refine this down until you’re happy and then split test against the original.

You could do the same with Facebook Ads. If you have some that aren’t working so well, run the copy through Conversion.ai and let it generate new suggestions for you. This can both save you a huge amount of time and effort as well as helping you to look at certain under-performing content in a different way.

G2 have compiled a list of further AI tools that can help generate written content – check out their guide here.

Other Useful Tools
Link Whisper

Internal link building is a fantastic SEO strategy that can really help to propel your articles up the Google ranks. And Link Whisper makes the process of adding these internal links super simple.

Genius Link

If your brand attracts an international audience, you need to ensure that you’re earning affiliate commissions on all of those international clicks. Geniuslink offers automatic link localization for Amazon, detecting a shopper’s country and routing them to the most relevant page, ensuring you get the commissions you deserve.

Crazy Egg

Offering a host of useful features, Crazy Egg allows you to optimize each of your pages to make sure each element is performing as well as it can. The Heat Map tool allows you to see where people click on your pages. You can see how far people scroll down your page with the Scroll Map tool. And the ‘Confetti’ feature allows you to see where people click on your page separated out by referral source (ie Google, Facebook, Direct – anywhere traffic is sent from). Check out the Crazy Egg overview video for more.

Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics 4 replaces what was previously known as Google App+Web but is very different from the standard Universal Analytics that you’re probably used to. GA4 will eventually replace Universal Analytics, but until it does, consider using GA4 alongside your Universal property.

So, what’s the difference? Whereas Universal Analytics is based on tracking data through page views, GA4 pulls data from the user. According to this post by Cardinal Path:

By unifying web and mobile measurement, from an audience and user journey perspective, GA4 allows marketers to create a single user journey from the data associated with the same identity and to weave a more holistic view of the user’s interactions with your brand.

This information is powerful and understanding it can help you to build out a more user-centric Amazon affiliate strategy for your business. For help getting GA4 step up, this guide by Loves Data is really helpful.

#2 – Experienced Affiliates Not Currently In The Biz

If you’re an experienced affiliate marketer who has lapsed in terms of your efforts, then you’re still in a great position to reap the benefits of this current golden bubble. Whether you have a neglected website or are completely out of the game, read on for some ideas to reignite your affiliate passion.

Amazon Affiliate Strategy For Experienced Affiliates Who Are Not Currently Active

1. Get Back to Work

If you have a site that has been left to go cold, now is the time to fan the flames and get it going again. With a website already built, you’ll already have both Domain and Page authority for your site, so this gives you a head start over the chasing pack. Maximize it.

Most importantly you need to reengage with your audience. You’re going to need to rebuild trust with them if you’ve been away for a while. Think about why you got into affiliate marketing in the first place. If you’ve followed the proven path to success it will be because you genuinely want to help your audience – either to solve a problem or achieve a goal. Your commissions are a natural result of this value. Focus on that relationship and start to provide value again.

An approach to consider would be to update your content first and then send out an email to your list, being open and honest about why you’ve not been active lately. Say sorry. Be human. Give them something useful that will surprise and engage them.

Update your old content, add new images, new videos, consider changing your WordPress theme to give your site a new look and give yourself a fresh start with it.

Which products are no longer available to buy? Go through your product posts and remove any that are no longer on sale. Search through Amazon for replacement products and rework/rewrite the articles as required.

update content and engage your audience

2. Choose Your Vertical Carefully

If you’re an experienced content marketer without a current online business, then you know you have a lot of work ahead of you to get this off the ground. But through your experience, you have a huge advantage. Now is the time to be savvy and to pick your next niche carefully. Which niches have seen an increase in popularity due to the pandemic? Choose one with lots of vertical movement so that you have lots of room to expand as you build.

Amazon’s product list is VAST, and given how well it converts, the Amazon Associates program is still one of the best there is for affiliate marketers.

Use your skills to start generating money fast, and then reinvest it all into your business to grow it as fast as you can.

Go through points #2-#4 in the section above for further tips that are highly relevant to where you’re at right now.

#3 – Intermediate Level Affiliates With Some Knowledge & Success

If you fall into this category then you’re in a good place to stay ahead of the wave that’s building behind you. But now really is the time to ramp things up…

Amazon Affiliate Strategy for Intermediate Affiliates

1. Get Moving, Fast!

You need to prioritize and focus on the things that can really get your business moving forward fast. You have some success – you’ve got to grips with writing SEO-optimized content and have implemented a great keyword research strategy. So what’s next?

It really comes down to content. You have to produce as much high-quality useful content as you possibly can. Set yourself a challenge. Can you commit to writing one post per day for 30 days? It’ll be a tough month if this is a side-hustle on top of a regular job, but it’s doable if you’re determined. Read the ‘Work Smarter’ and ‘Work Faster’ sections at the start of this article for tips on how to speed that process up and use your time more effectively.

If you can’t do that then commit to something that is more realistic (but still a stretch!) for your circumstances. The key is to get into a routine of producing lots of content on a consistently regular basis.

2. Educate Yourself

As you’ll already know, there’s a lot to learn in the affiliate marketing world. It doesn’t seem to matter what stage you’re at, there’s always more to learn.

SEO

WordPress plugins such as RankMath or Yoast are essential and will really help you to write SEO-optimized blog posts. However, if you’ve mastered the basics, it’s well worth your time deepening your understanding of SEO. There are a few courses out there that can help:

  • Moz
  • HubSpot Academy
  • Academy of Search – Spencer Haws interviews the founder of this course and listeners can get a code that gives you access for free. I’ve just signed up. Check it out here.

3. Invest Money Into Your New Affiliate Business to Save Time

Investing a small amount of money into your business can reap tremendous rewards. With the onrush of new affiliates closing the gap, you need to speculate to accumulate in order to stay ahead of the wave.

invest money into your business to save time

AmaLinks Pro – having affiliate text links in your posts is not enough to maximize your earning potential. How you display them is vital. AmaLinks Pro has a plethora of beautiful product boxes, showcases and comparison tables that let you present products in a visually stunning way. Tests prove that these kinds of links can improve conversion rates by a staggering 386% – can you afford to leave that potential money on the table?

Investing a little in an email marketing service can really help you to deliver more direct value to your audience through your email campaigns. Perhaps you’re currently on MailChimp’s free but limited plan? Many of us start that way. But upgrading to a paid plan can offer you more insights and tools for maximising your email marketing strategy.  Some of the best include:

Advertising

Using targeted Facebook ads to point people to your website can be a highly effective way to grow your audience and quickly give your earnings a boost. And growing your audience is the crucial strategy that will increase your click-through rate, and therefore your conversion rate.

Remember, when using Facebook Ads as part of your Amazon affiliate strategy, always make sure you are directing people to your content with the affiliate links in, rather than putting the links into the actual ads. You want people to engage with your brand so that you can provide value to them. If you can do that from the piece of content that the ad leads them to, then you stand a great chance of converting that reader into a newsletter subscriber, meaning you’ve grown your audience rather than just made a quick sale.

#4 – Brand New And Inexperienced Affiliates

You guys have a lot to learn. But don’t let that intimidate or daunt you. The trick to this is to break it down into smaller chunks.

I’m an ultrarunner in my spare time and have tackled a few 100-milers in the past. In any one of those races, if I stood on the start line and thought of the finish line, I don’t think I’d take a single step forward! The fear of the distance would paralyze me! Instead, I think of the first checkpoint, usually 7-10 miles in. That is a distance my head and body can comprehend without fear. And the same mindset can really help with setting up an affiliate marketing business.

If you’re currently earning zero from your affiliate business and aim to generate $5000 per month, focus on generating $50 first. Then when you get there, look at $100, then $500, then $1000 – you get the idea. Thinking of $5000 as a beginner will crush you. Break it down. Hit your first target. Celebrate your success. And then knuckle down to the next one. Relentless forward progress is the key.

There are so many free resources out there to help you. AC listed a whole stash of them at the end of his golden bubble post. Figure out what the very next thing you need to learn is, and then learn it. Move onto the next one.

There are many blogs out there to help you on your journey, and I list some of the best below. Pick 1 or 2 and stick to those, otherwise, you can end up going down the rabbit hole of consuming content rather than making it. Some recommendations are:

  • milesbeckler.com – Miles is my go-to for all affiliate marketing related learning. He has a clear and simple way of communicating that really resonates with me, and his content is super-helpful.
  • Smart Passive Income – Pat Flynn is one of the first internet marketers I began to follow and the SPI website and podcast is a true wealth of information for affiliates of all levels.
  • Side Hustle School – Chris Guillebeau delivers a daily podcast showcasing inspirational stories of people starting side hustles. Not specific to affiliate marketing, but still a hugely helpful resource, especially for those in the niche research phase.
  • wpbeginner – A fantastic reference for all things WordPress. From reviews of plug-ins and themes to step-by-step how-to guides, wpbeginner is a truly invaluable resource.
  • Authority Hacker – Gael and Mark have a tremendous wealth of exceptionally helpful content on their website, YouTube channel and podcast.

Now you have a few pointers as to where to go to learn the skills, let’s look at what it is you should be focussing on learning as an Amazon affiliate beginner.

Amazon Affiliate Strategy for Inexperienced Affiliates

1. Learn

Keyword Research

Effective keyword research stops you from creating content for search terms that won’t bring you traffic. Either because they’re too competitive, or because the search volumes are too low. KeySearch is a great place to start and is a tool I personally use but if you have a little more money to invest in this vital area, then one of the other tools offer extra features that could be better for you.

For a great comparison review of many of the options on offer, head over to this fantastic post by the guys at Authority Hacker.

Seo-Optimized Content Writing

Whether that’s the written word, audio or video, you need to get into the habit of producing SEO-optimized content FAST. Lots of it. The minimum is three pieces of unique and useful content per week, I’d say.

Read the ‘Work Faster’ part at the start of this post for highly valuable tips on how to create this type of content quickly.

Set yourself a target, let’s say 12 pieces of content published in the first month. You may only be able to write 2 in the first week, but by the time week 4 comes round you’ll be much more efficient and could be able to write 4 or more per week. Once you have that momentum, keep it going.

Copywriting

Having a basic understanding of the craft of copywriting is essential for any affiliate marketer. Your content writing will provide informative value to your audience, but without effective copywriting, its power to make sales will be severely curtailed. Copywriting is the art of compelling readers to take whatever desired action the writer wants them to – sign up for a newsletter, click through from an advert or buy on Amazon.

The key thing to remember with copywriting is to always lead with the benefit. How will taking the desired action benefit the reader – what’s in it for them? If you keep this at the forefront of your mind when writing your copy, it will help you to construct your sentences in such a way as to compel the reader to take the action. And keep those sentences short, sharp and direct.

2. Consider Investing a Little money in High-quality Marketing Courses

There is a lot of free content online to help you with your affiliate business, but, if you have a little money to invest in yourself, then these courses can maximize the use of your time and can bring you success much faster.

Free
Paid

The Authority Site System – Authority Hacker’s own step-by-step course on how to build an authority website. This course comes highly recommended.

3. Take Action on Something Right Away

I’ve been very guilty of spending too long in the research phase. I get torn between niches and addicted to the YouTube videos teaching me stuff, without actually doing anything for myself.

One method I’ve found useful is to keep a running list of all the jobs I need to get done, with an estimate of how long that thing will take. Then, when I find I have a spare 20 minutes, I can look at the list, and without having to spend time thinking about it, find one that fits the time and get it done.

take action on something right away

Do one thing at a time. At the end of each day ask yourself this question – what is the most important thing you can do tomorrow to move your business forward? The next day, do that thing. If it’s to write a killer comparison post then do that. If it’s to get an email list started, then do that. Then ask yourself the same question at the end of that day and keep going. By the end of a year, you’ll have done 365 important things to move your business forward.

The important thing is to take action and DO something now.

4. Focus on the Highest Quality Content in Your Niche

Be the best. When researching your keyword, read all of the top ten posts that Google delivers on the SERP and make your content better. This is key.

Research thoroughly all of those products that you’re going to recommend to your audience and make sure you only pick the best quality items. Check Amazon’s bestseller list for each product category that’s relevant to your audience and read the customer reviews.

5. Invest a Little Money Into Your New Affiliate Business to Kick-start Things

As mentioned above, investing in a Keyword research tool is vital. In addition, there are also a number of paid tools that can really help you to gain momentum faster.

AmaLinks Pro – One of the key benefits for brand new affiliate marketers like yourself is that you don’t need an API key from Amazon to start using it. So you can have all of those beautiful showcases and comparison tables in your posts to maximize your earnings straight away. You can read more on this here.

In these early days, it’s best if you do all of the writing yourself so that you master how to write for your audience. But that doesn’t mean you can’t enlist the help of freelancers for other parts of your business. Using a graphic designer to create a logo and a suite of graphics that you can re-use can save you a tonne of time as well as make your website more visually appealing. Fiverr and Upwork are great places to start.

Having a quality selection of images on your website can also help you to stand out from other affiliates in your niche. Unsplash, Pixabay and Pexels are great resources for high-quality free images, but the chances are your competitors have also plundered those sites for the best images for your niche. Investing a little in some paid images can really help to set you apart from the competition. Sites to consider are:

There are lots of great tool recommendations throughout this article, so check back through for more tips to move your business forward, fast!

6. Keep at it! Don’t give up!

As mentioned earlier, starting an Amazon affiliate business (or any business) can feel utterly overwhelming at times. But don’t give up! Just keep chipping away at it every day and if you follow the process of creating genuinely useful and unique content that helps your audience, then you will eventually succeed.

At times you’ll probably feel like you’re getting nowhere – just remember that this is normal! Keep going and that finish line will creep into sight eventually. How quickly you get there is really down to how hard you’re willing to work.

And don’t be afraid of making mistakes. You will make them – lots of them! They are part of this exciting industry and should be embraced for the valuable learning they provide.

Conclusion

It’s a truly exciting time to be an affiliate marketer. And it’s going to be fascinating to see where the industry sits in 12 months time. Wherever you’re at in your affiliate marketing journey, I hope the strategies above help you.

I just purchased AmaLinks Pro!
